Ashgate Beauly ( Tammy )

Tammy (her correct name Beauly is lent from the town near Inverness in Scotland) marked a new start for our kennel after the 1999 disaster. To get Tammy was like winning a jackpot for our kennel. We collected her pregnant from the Ashgate kennels in Somerset/UK in January 2000. Her first job was to inspect the dogs that lived with us and she decided to make Willi the leader and Percy a pensioner. She is a real English lady and her calm and well balanced character avoids from any trouble in the whelping box where she allows our younger bitches to help and to learn for their later life as a dam.

Tammy never was a enthusiastic show dog but she got several excellent judgements at shows and became evaluated as to her stud potential in the year 2002. Tammy is the queen of our pack and even Willi sometimes has to accept that there is a leading lady behind every leader. After she brought up her last litter in Winter 2004/5 she can now retire from her responsible job to be only our “Queen Mum”. For our kennel, however, she certainly did much more than simply her duty up to now.
